You have a hot tub and now you need to share it with others. You don,t need to be alone when spending quality time with your hot tub. A hot tub party is a most enjoyable and relaxing way to spend time with family and friends. . However, if you intend to host a hot tub party then you should remember that there are things and accessories that you need to equip yourself with to make the party really enjoyable. The first thing is your invitation list. You do not want the party to be too casual so that everyone in the area attends, so the most appropriate people to invite apart from your family are friends and neighbours that you actually know well.
It is probably not a good idea to invite relative strangers because due to the relative intimacy of a hot tub where people are gathered together in swimwear relative strangers may feel uncomfortable. If everyone is familiar with the other guests it will usually make everyone feel more comfortable.

Keep your hot tub cover on until just before the party to keep the water temperature constant and avoid any leaves and insects from entering your spa.
Some of your guests may not want to sit in a hot tub all day so have other activities available for those that need them. It is a good thing to have plenty of shade available as sitting in and around your hot tub all day can lead to severe sunburn if you are not careful. Children should have plenty of protection from the sun and sun screen is a must. Sitting in a hot tub with all the jets of air and water will soon wash off the sun screen so it should be applied quite frequently. A parasol or umbrella is a good idea for some shade.
You can set up a picnic area for guests who are not sitting in the hot tub. Have food and drinks available at this area or you may also set up a barbecue which is another nice way to spend time with your friends and family. Music and dancing is a good way for getting people to mingle and mix with each other. You may have a hot tub that already has a music system and TV installed other wise you can set them up near to your party area.
You can get hot tub accessories like a table attachment seating arrangement or bar stools and some steps for getting into and out of the hot tub. Another little indulgence on a hot day is a mist spray system set up above your hot tub. You can also have special scents added to the tub to give that extra feeling of luxury.
When serving food and drink it is always best to use plastic utensils. Having that lovely glass of wine served up in your best crystal glasses sounds good but just remember on broken glass in your hot tub will totally ruin your day. So it is best to stick to plastic tumblers although you can now get great looking acrylic wine glasses which are practically unbreakable. Food is probably served best on heavy duty paper plates and it is best to keep food from dropping into the tub so that it does not clog up the filters.
