Hot Tub Reviews

There are many different types of hot tubs that are available on the market today and each type has basic differences depending on the features, size, accessories and type of spa you require. The different types of hot tubs can often vary from manufacturer to manufacturer  and they all have there different designs and quirks but all have the same end result which is a relaxing, soothing experience.

Some of these hot tubs are known as 2 person hot tubs, some have different jet features and the amount of jets vary considerably also. Some are known more as spa types while yet others have better insulation and thermal qualities.  One important factor in addition to all of these various types is the overall pricing of the hot tubs.

Obviously, the hot tubs and spas found on the market today are not all equally priced.
Although there are essentially several different web sites via the Internet all offering reviews and information about different types of hot tubs, in many situations the web sites also offer information about specific models of hot tubs that are perhaps available through that web site. One of the best ways an individual can ultimately choose the best hot tub to accommodate his or her needs is to simply look on the internet and go through the various web sites available and decide from there.

Remember, not all hot tubs are the same in price, they vary vastly due to the size, amount of jets, the type of hot tub, the material they are made from, and the amount of accessories that you want with your tub. Although most manufacturers have different ranges from the most basic costing a couple of thousand dollars to the most luxurious costing tens of thousands of dollars, most have at least one in each price range.

Hot tubs that are considered to be portable might not hold as much water or have as many jets as an in ground hot tub with its own base, plumbing system and electric wiring. Hot tubs that have more jets will most assuredly have increase pricing compared to those, with only the basic amount. Today, spas and hot tubs are made in hundreds of different formats shapes and sizes, with a myriad of different fixtures, truly something for every need and to fit every pocket. Modern plastics allow form-fitted shapes for every body with tailored Jets to provide the maximum relaxation and enjoyment. Spas are even made of lightweight foam materials that can be easily set up or taken down, making hot water portable and affordable, for ever garden or indeed inside every house.

When we are referring to a spa we are generally talking about a small pool with water agitated by jets and also the introduction of bubbles using blowers. Spas can be built into the ground in a concrete structure or above ground as a self contained unit.

Usually when we refer to a hot tub we are talking about a wooden tub built usually of redwood or cedar. Like the spa it also has pumps/motors, heaters, air blowers and an amount of water jets. A typical design would be for four to ten adults although you can have them larger if that’s what you require.

A portable spa is a single unit that contains all the essential equipment but it is easily moved from one location to anther. They are usually designed of lightweight material and can be soft or hard sided. Usually they can be easily folded and stored and are not much bigger that the trunk of your car so can be transported from one place to another easily.

As far as warranties on the hot tubs that are sold today, most have great warranties compared with other goods on the market. This again however, depends on the manufacturer or the company that is selling the hot tubs but usually you can get a lifetime or 25 year warranty on hot tub structures, Spa surface warranties can be 5 or ten years, electric and plumbing warranties are usually 2 to 5 years. A really good warranty should cover faulty hot tubs, damage to the hot tubs, or possibly accidents. Some manufacturers only warranty faulty equipment so this is a point to take into consideration as well.
Hot tubs require the use of chemicals and other products to keep the hot tub in perfect condition and these are another issue that individuals who are considering the purchase of a hot tub should keep in mind. Many of the chemicals and products are not considered outrageous or high priced, however it is important to have them. The amounts of jets that are included in a hot tub are not just for more waves or motion. These jets are considered therapeutic and offer a sense of healing to the body. Many individuals use hot tubs to ease stress and muscle aches as well.
Finally, when an individual is considering a hot tub for his or her personal use the various manufacturers can assist you in your decision of which type will essentially be the best for your personal needs. Therefore doing a bit of research on hot tubs via the Internet will be beneficial when the time comes to purchase your hot tub or spa.
